Highlights

British Columbia

    • The Peak season for average monthly BC visitation in 2018 is Winter, followed by Spring, Summer and Fall.
    • The Top City by Visitor Origin differs by season. Castlegar ranked first in Summer and Fall, followed by Vancouver in Winter and Nelson in Spring.
    • Rejuvenators from Nelson and Castlegar are the top EQ Type in Spring, Summer and Fall.
    • Cultural Explorers from Vancouver are the dominant EQ Type in Winter, followed by Rejuvenators in Nelson, Rossland and Castlegar and Authentic Experiencers in Langley and Surrey.

Alberta

    • The Peak season for average monthly Alberta visitation in 2018 is Winter, followed by Spring and Summer. There was limited visitation during Fall.
    • The Top City by Visitor Origin differs by season. The La Crete Area ranked first in Summer and Fall, followed by Calgary in Winter and Fort Mcmurray in Spring.
    • No Hassle Travellers from Fort Mcmurray and the La Crete Area are the top EQ Type in Spring, Summer and Fall.
    • Authentic Experiencers from Calgary are the dominant EQ Type in Winter and the second largest market in Spring.

Note: ALL counts exclude residents of the Thompson Okanagan Region.
