Biking in Boundary

Ride your way

From laid-back riverside rides to technical mountain trails, biking in Boundary Country is as varied as the landscape itself. Cruise historic rail trails, conquer alpine descents or fat bike through snow-covered forests. With year-round options and terrain for every skill level, there’s always a new route worth pedalling.

Activities

Boundary Country is built for two wheels. Ride gentle grades on the Kettle Valley and Columbia & Western Rail Trails or tackle world-class descents at Big White Bike Park. Explore alpine trails in summer, fat bike snow-packed routes in winter or follow forested singletrack from Christina Lake to Phoenix Mountain—every ride is a scenic one.

Four people sit at a picnic table in a forested area near a river, talking and eating. Bicycles with helmets and gear are parked nearby on a dirt path leading into the trees.

The choices are practically endless

Savour the wide-open spaces as you hike and bike where Bighorn sheep, elk and deer still roam. Bask in the quiet of the wilderness while you fish tranquil lakes and slow-running rivers. Ride or hike the Kettle Valley Rail Trail (KVR) from campsite to campsite and park to park.
