Analytics – December 2017 Web and Social
The Boundary Country website saw a total of 1,160 sessions throughout the month of December, down 11.4% over the previous period, and up 33.4% over the previous year. There were 2,252 pageviews, down 14.5% over the previous period, and up 42.4% over the previous year. The decreases seen over the previous period are reflective of seasonality, and the trend historically has seen sessions significantly reduce after the summer concludes. We are seeing a large growth from last year.
The Top Visited Landing Pages on the website were the homepage, play/winter-recreation/, and visit/beaverdell.
The social accounts for Boundary Country (Facebook and Instagram) saw a combined total of 116,109 impressions, up 340% and 3,304 engagements, up 179.3% since November. The accounts saw 77 fans gained, an increase of 2.1% bringing the current total to 3,739. The increases seen here is largely due to an increase in posting frequency. The Top Performing Facebook Post was User-Generated Content captured near Phoenix Mountain. It reached 11,757 people and generated 321 engagements.
The Top Performing Instagram Post was User-Generated Content of Wilgress Lake with a total of 63 engagements.
