Boundary Country digital marketing performance has seen both positive and negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
From Jan. to Aug. 2021, BoundaryBC.com website was visited by 49,499 users (-1%) through 59,237 sessions (-2%) over 100,577 pageviews (-14%). The average session duration was 1 minute and 16 seconds (-25%), with an average of 1.7 pages per session (-12%).
Over the period, the @BoundaryCountryBC Facebook page gained 1,174 net likes (+154%), totalling 8,851 fans (+19%).
During the period, the @BoundaryCountry Instagram account gained 317 net followers (-15%), bringing the count to 2,093 followers (+27%).
Boundary Country contracted advertising agency, War Room, to run an ad campaign in March 2021 with the goal of (strictly) targeting locals.
Boundary Country and War Room ran another ad campaign spanning from July 1 to July 31. The campaign coincided with the start of the #CaptureBoundaryCountry Photo Challenge. Key results from the campaign are detailed in this report.
