Boundary Country digital marketing performance has seen both positive and negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.
From Jan. to Nov. 2021, BoundaryBC.com website was visited by 79,756 users (+13%) through 96,724 sessions (+13%) over 148,740 pageviews (-6%). The average session duration was 1 minute and 5 seconds (-30%), with an average of 1.5 pages per session (-16%).
Over the period, the @BoundaryCountryBC Facebook page gained 1,402 net likes (+88%), totalling 9,249 fans (+20%).
During the period, the @BoundaryCountry Instagram account gained 434 net followers (-10%), bringing the count to 2,210 followers (+26%).
Boundary Country contracted advertising agency, War Room, to run the following ad campaigns over the course of the year:
- March 2021 – Explore Local
- July 2021 – Summer Trails & Photo Challenge
- September 2021 – Fall Bliss
- Oct/Nov 2021 – Experience Winter
