Highway 3 Corridor

The Highway 3 planning area is one of 18 corridors throughout the province that will role up into a provincial tourism strategy.

The Thompson Okanagan 10-Year Regional Tourism Strategy – “Embracing Our Potential” completed in 2012, provided a framework for this region which formed the basis of the Destination Development work in the planning areas within the Thompson Okanagan.

Together with partners, Destination British Columbia is working in new ways to develop products and destinations, increase quality of visitor experiences, and ensure a high standard of services and amenities are in place to generate and sustain long-term demand for BC’s tourism industry.

Destination British Columbia is working with the province’s tourism regions  and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture on Destination Development.
