Boundary Country’s digital marketing performance has seen both positive and negative impacts from
the COVID-19 pandemic.
From January to August 2022, the BoundaryBC.com website was visited by 69,294 users (+40%)
through 91,802 sessions (+55%) over 129,094 pageviews (+28%). The average session duration
was 54 seconds (-29%), with an average of 1.4 pages per session (-17%).
Over the period, the @BoundaryCountryBC Facebook page gained 359 net likes (-69%), totaling
9,860 fans (+11%).
During the period, the @BoundaryCountry Instagram account gained 126 net followers (-60%),
bringing the count to 2,342 followers (+12%).
Some analytics saw some negative results compared to last year. While these numbers would
normally be alarming, there was a digital advertising campaign running in 2021 during this reporting
period. There was a significant budget dedicated to driving traffic to our website and social media
channels.
