Marketing Analytics – YTD May 2022

Boundary Country digital marketing performance has seen both positive and negative impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic.


From January to April 2022, BoundaryBC.com website was visited by 51,949 users (+116%) through 71,083 sessions (+116%) over 92,927 pageviews (+77%). The average session duration was 46 seconds (-47%), with an average of 1.3 pages per session (-28%).

Over the period, the @BoundaryCountryBC Facebook page gained 338 net likes (-33%), totalling 9,797 fans (+19%).
During the period, the @BoundaryCountry Instagram account gained 120 net followers (-28%), bringing the count to 2,337 followers (+20%).

Some analytics saw some negative results compared to last year. While these numbers would normally be alarming, there was a digital advertising campaign running in 2021 during this reporting period. There was a significant budget dedicated to drive traffic to our website and social media channels.


There is a digital advertising campaign running through to the end of May. The results are detailed
in the May report, and we can expect increases on this period’s and June’s results.
